JR Henderson Special Update: Learning Commons Week
Good afternoon Henderson Families,
Next week at Henderson is sure to be a week filled with excitement and learning. We are celebrating our first Learning Commons Week to promote the joy and excitement of reading!
Scholastic Book Fair Volunteers Needed!
We need helpers during the school day from Monday to Friday - Sept 22nd to 26th. Contact M Higginson higginsonm@limestone.on.ca or Emily Ashie emily.a.ashie@gmail.com to sign up.
Our Book Drive starts next week
Do you have books that your children have outgrown? We would love to ensure these treasures continue to be used and loved. We are looking for gently used books - English or French. Books should be brought to your child's class teacher from Monday to Friday of next week (Sept 22nd to Sept 26th)
For each book that your child brings in, we will give them a ballot to win a fun gift basket!
Scholastics Book Sale
Finally, we are having a Scholastics Book Fair! Teachers will let you know the date of your visit to the Book Fair. Students are encouraged to bring money to purchase a book or items from the fair. Families will also be able to shop on Thursday Sept 25th from 5pm - 6:30pm at our Open House!
