Students are expected to attend school regularly, be punctual, and participate in all classes.

Students who must leave for an appointment must have a note, and must be picked up and signed out at the school office. If returning the same day they are asked to sign in.

The Advance Absence Program is in place to help ensure that children arrive safely at school. Your cooperation in notifying the school when your child is absent for illness, appointments, etc. is essential and greatly appreciated. The answering machine is available 24 hours a day. Please leave a message on the Safe Arrival Line 613-389-2330 or email each day that your child will be absent or late.

It is also important that the school has current emergency phone numbers in case of illness. The parent, guardian or emergency contact person will be called so that the student may convalesce in a more comfortable setting.

Circumstances change!  Please inform of us of any changes to your child’s emergency contact information

Students arriving at school after the bell has rung, should check in at the office before proceeding to class where the teacher will record the late. Repeated lates will result in contact from the school.
